I am reading Book 2 now, and I have to agree that the back and forth and having so many character is getting confusing. It is never a bad thing when a author goes back to his older work and reworks it. I think the concept is a very interesting one, but I do agree that you could sit down and re-outline book one and two and do a rewrite to make it all flow better. Just a thought.
