Yes, although I find reading books written by anglophones from the Commonwealth published with American spelling disconcerting because the spelling doesn't match the writer's voice most of the time.
Where I can, I try to stick to my own Australian/UK spelling and I now use a note at the front of the book or story to advise readers that is what I am using. I know as a reader I have the opposite problem... US writers using USA English for books set in the UK. The first 'gotten' I come to jerks me right out of the story so I can see how it is irritating. No easy answers!
