David I read Pretty Little Dead Girls, Mercedes is amazing! I read all her work and done reviews for her. I didn't realize you are a writer, bad me!, I'll have to check out your books. If you have one that you would like reviewed (finished or ARC) let me know. Horror is my favorite and have read all of Kings work. Hopefully when we both finish it we can talk about it.

Suzi

Suzi Albracht Oops, I didn't realize there was another book by that name. Thanks for letting me know.
Do you post reviews to Amazon?

message 3: by David (new)

David Yes, and here of course and on B&N if the book is available there too. I think the oops is on me. I didn't realize your new book was titled Pretty Little Dead Girls. I thought you were reading the one by Mercedes Yardley.

Suzi Albracht As it turns out, she published in September. I came up with the title before that. So it was really, really good you brought it up. I have to rethink the title when I get near the end of writing it and then do a search to make sure it is unique. Too bad, it was a really, really good title.

Suzi Albracht It fit my book perfectly.

message 6: by David (new)

David sorry to be the one to bring the bad news. As it happens it fit her's very well too. I don't know why you couldn't both have the same title, unless it's a personal preference of your's.

message 7: by Suzi (new)

Suzi Albracht No, it's not a personal preference. Thanks for the advice. I may just take you up on it because it truly fits the book.

message 8: by David (new)

David Now I'm very curious what the book is about. When do you plan to release it?

message 9: by Suzi (new)

Suzi Albracht Itis about one of the characters from the Devil's Lieutenant - Mikael Ruskoff. He is a Washington D.C. Homicide Detective who investigates a series of abductions and murders of very young girls. When he gets up against the wall, he has to seek help from a man who can give him the killer but demands something that can destroy him. When you meet him in the Devil;s Lieutenant, you know his soul is in pain. Pretty Little Dead Girls describes his journey and why he had to take it.

I will probably publish it later this month. It's very dark and intense and satisfying to write.

David That sounds very good, and I'll have to get the Devil's Lieutenant and read it first. Dark and intense is always good. I'll add it to my to read list and look forward to reading it.

Suzi Albracht Thanks! By the way, SCORN KILLS is loosely connected at the moment. It also has several characters who appear in The Devil's Lieutenant but they don't appear until late and the main character is only in SCORN KILLS.

A secondary character in SCORN KILLS will appear in Book 2 of the Devil's Due series. It comes after The Devil's Lieutenant.

All my books will be connected in some way.

And that is why I haven't gotten very far in Revival.

message 12: by David (new)

David That's completely understandable. If I were a writer I'm not sure how I would ever find time to read, I hardly have time as it is.
Should I read The Devil's Lieutenant first or SCORN KILLS first?

message 13: by Suzi (new)

Suzi Albracht Either would be okay. SCORN KILLS is a stand alone for the most part. But I would suggest to read The Devil's Lieutenant first because then you can get that AHA moment when you see the other characters again.

Thanks.

I loved writing both but The Devil's Lieutenant has my heart.
