Diana Gagliardi would you prefer to be asked why he was clothed? :D

message 2: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Palfrey Because you are the source of all wisdom, apparently! Next up: what is the answer to life, the universe, and everything?

Talli Ruksas Does Goodreads not allow you to delete questions?

Brzk As some small consolation, you were not Frans's first choice to ask his question:

Frans Abilio asked a question about Crocodile Burning:
Crocodile Burning by Michael Williams
how did the dead man die?

You seem not to be the victim of an orchestrated attack, but very popular among non-English speaking goodreads members.

Brzk Oh, forgot to mention... When you click on the "Ask the Author" link from your GR's home page, Lois McMaster Bujold is very conveniently suggested as one of four options (because, I guess, you have answered 859 questions already). So this is how people who want to ask someone something land in your lap. Totally by mistake. No orchestrated attack. We can rest.

Kathie To get to the other side?

message 9: by Dee (new)

Dee Why was the dead man dead? Who was he? Will we ever know the answers to these and other mysteries?

message 10: by Brzk (new)

Brzk We do realize this Crocodile Burning and some others by the same author are part of a school curriculum somewhere on the planet? I personally imagine a desperate and otherwise computer-savvy student urgently looking for help with his homework. Thanks to us, he will fail lousily. Why haven't anybody read the bloody book yet and just delivered an answer?

message 11: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Palfrey This is the wrong place to ask this question. I've never even heard of the book, so I certainly can't begin to answer it. I'd suggest asking in some more appropriate place.

message 12: by Shawn Allwein (new)

Shawn Allwein Huh, I guess we’ll never hear the punchline...
