Maureen Gianinio Guess that's what they mean by no two people ever read the same book. I dont see and characters as cookie cutter, each woman has her strengths and approach to the man and the world she's being introduced to based on her life experiences. I love seeing them grow as individuals and couples and facing the changes coming to them. Testing the waters to see how they work together. And to me strength has many definitions.

Leah I actually took a break from these books because I also felt like the stories were too cookie cutter. Though I did tell myself it could have felt like that because I was reading them back to back. I saw so many similarities, that felt i was reading the same book just different characters, and slightly different backgrounds. The formula, so to say was overall the same. I do enjoy these books and will eventually read them again. Just not back to back.

Adaiah So much went on in Dark Slayer,. Several questions answered, and a major problem for the Carpathians was solved. How is that missed in reading? There was nothing cookie cutter in DS. Razvan was such a secure male, that had no problems with taking direction from a woman to learn a skill he needed to survive. That doesn't make him submissive, but a person that trust his partner.
