Jessica Thank you so much for answering, and for releasing your work into the world!

Heather I've been buying and gifting starter sets of your series to my very favorite people over the last few holiday seasons. I find it is the hardest to give away the Shards of Honor and Barrayar set, without wanting to set a date to discuss (pushy) or keeping another set for myself (hoarding and I don't need it). I deeply enjoy all of your work, but those first two...there is something about two competent, intelligent people doing the best they can, in arenas small and grand, while falling in love/deep friendhip that I have yet to meet the like of. Maybe some Jane Austen romances have that character, but the women were not save-the-carrier, escape-the-planet Betan captains!
I am continually grateful and appreciative. Thank you for many, many hours of engagement, laughter, and solace.
