C. (Don't blank click my reviews, comment please! Being stymied in the case of first timers is simply learning to believe you are allowed to make things up and put them out there. Anytime an author answers this kind of query originally, it sticks.

I am not a pilot / waitress / plumber yet. I have to be my own university and build my career at home from the ground up and my imagination. Thank you. I trust we can be born writers but be leery of how to start an actual novel.

Laura Brown I write non-fiction mostly. I think writer's block is something generic for a lot of other things like burn out, lack of confidence, etc. I've never felt blocked because there are so many sources for inspiration. But, I do battle feeling confident, sure of myself and I've had burn out at least twice. Once after posting a daily inspiration site for several years. Sadly, giving in to burn out ended up being a bad choice. I never got back into the same discipline with that site and I miss writing for it now.
