8th Century

The 8th century is the period from 701 to 800 in accordance with the Julian calendar in the Common Era. It is part of the Viking Age and of the Byzantine Empire in Europe, the expansion of Islam in the Middle East and Africa, the Tang Dynasty in China, and the Nara period in Japan.
