[close] "Books and Literary Spaces" is a group that reads fiction books about books, libraries, bookshops, wordsmiths, and book publishing; all things about books, writers of books, and spaces that produce, and house books. These books are focused upon characters that discuss other literature and contains themes and settings revolving around bookshops, bookstores, libraries, authors, and publication. This fictional genre provides a unique view into the world of literature, librarians, writers, the field of publishing, and the literary spaces that influence readers and writers as they interact with literary text and spaces.

[close] I wanted to start this group to allow those from all over the world to post their favorites whether they are Rewilding, Outdoor Sports, Books about Trees, Conservation or any other relevant topics. We can discuss them, we can encourage each other to read other kinds of books we may have previously decided against.

[close] Hello! Welcome to a local book group! I wanted to create a group in my area where members could meet fellow JPers that love books! Depending on if anyone has any interest, we can organize meetings in town (JP Licks, Ula cafe or picnic in the arboretum anyone?) or simply discuss online. I am not big on "book clubs" mostly because I have a pretty rigorous "to be read" list and don't like to stray far from it (so many books, so little time you know!). I do not want to force anyone to read anything they aren't interested in. That said, I would LOVE to discuss books that I happened to be reading or that I am planning on reading with people who have shown similar interest those books. I am picturing fellow members checking out one another's TBR lists and seeing if there are any books in common! That way, we can all be sure to be reading something we had an initial interest in. Also, I want to meet new friends in J.P. and go on adventures! :) Obviously... that goes without saying.
