[close] This is a book club dedicated to reading modern day fiction, nonfiction and ancient classics set in the ancient world. The ancient world includes from the Bronze Age up until Late Antiquity era.

[close] This group is for those who love not just history but ancient history! From Ancient Egypt (and even earlier at times) to those civilization-busting Romans, we love all things early BC & AD! My personal passion is reading about ancient Egypt, but there is so much to explore from that early time period in human history. Who needs cell phones, cars, social internet sites, or computer hacking, to find intrigue, love, and adventure? Please share your favorite reads, authors, etc. Read books together, or not. This is just for fun and recommendations! Hope you discover something new and exciting here!
