[close] This group will focus on literature and books concerning history, philosophy, psychology, natural and social science, religion and spirituality, and the arts published at least 50 years ago, the theory being: first, that the long-term reputation of a book is a more reliable filter to sort wheat from chaff than contemporary reviews or sales; second, that the books we read will address enduring themes and raise enduring questions; and, third, that judgment and taste should be seasoned by history and familiarity with the best writing and ideas of the past.

There is no specific way to answer the question or any requirements. We are open to enthusiasts who are interested in the topic. The Italian Renaissance, the time period known for its impact on art and scientific discovery. The time of Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Michelangelo, Sandro Botticelli, and the list of artists and historical figures continues. it is significant in its politics, trade, and ethics along with a rich and developed history. This group is made to discuss books about the Italian Renaissance and build up a community of curious minds to engage into reading about its history.
