Avatar

[close] The devas have fallen. Betrayed by Kroni, they were bound to samsara, and like humans, must suffer through the cycles of life, death, and rebirth to achieve moksha and once again become gods. But as demigods, they are vulnerable to their greatest foes, who seek to kill them once and for all, and to damn them to Naraka. Within the island village of Sineru, they must survive this final incarnation and ascend, or burn forever in a hellish plane of torture.

[close] The time of the previous Avatar, Avatar Aang is over. After bringing peace to the four nations, the Avatar settled down to start a family of his own. However even the Avatar cannot escape time, and he, along with his companions, have passed away. To honour the Avatar, a city was built in what used to be the Earth Kingdom, known as Republic City. It's been seventy years since the Battle of Sozin's Comet, and the world has changed with it. However, the time for a new Avatar has come, and with the dark threats from the Equalists looming over benders heads shows that the battle for peace is far from over.

[close] It has been years since the Avatar has been seen, and both the spiritual and temporal worlds are in disarray. Tensions are high in Republic City as rumors of wars and contention spread, and the council is running out of ideas. Crime rates are up, as are death counts, and the world has never needed an Avatar so badly; but where has she gone?
