How have they shaped our past and our modern world? We’ll explore how the major religions originated and spread, especially through a critical reading of how their sacred texts and shared beliefs came into being and why they were accepted as essential to the core of those religions. Religion is intertwined with culture and society in the fabric of our nations. This book club is more concerned with an understanding of religious history in the context of culture, society, and nationhood than it is about thinking about theology per se.

And also to learn from past and present and to discuss confront our views and ask why ? How ? And to realise the joy.!! Of our own being
