[close] The Black Humanists and Non-Believers of Sacramento is an outreach and educational community group for African American atheists, humanists, non-believers, skeptics, agnostics. We hold a monthly book club online.

[close] We explore Black politics, culture, and history through honest conversations, incisive analysis, and a spotlight on our community’s voices. From unpacking current events to celebrating cultural achievements, we aim to inform, inspire and spark meaningful dialogue.

[close] Welcome to Booked & Black–your Black book safe haven, celebrating all things Black-centered! We are unlike any other book club you’ve experienced because over here, we put so much love, attention, and care into every single aspect of this club. Down to its members, we want this book club to be the most personable one you’ve ever experienced. So no being left on read or feelings of shyness because over here, you will feel and be included. As lovers of reading, we wanted to create a safe, but fun space for all Black queens, kings, and sweet things to come in and find community within. We’ll read genres like romance, mystery thriller, horror, even fantasy, sci-fi and realistic fiction! This Book Club is run by admins Lala and UrBookBoo!
