[close] We focus on reading books that support emotional emancipation of black people. Community Healing Network, Inc. (CHN) is the only organization focused solely on building the global grassroots movement for emotional emancipation to help Black people overcome and overturn the lies of White superiority and Black inferiority: the root causes of the devaluing of Black lives. Our mission is to reduce violence, improve health, strengthen families, and transform conditions in Black communities by helping Black people heal from the historical and continuing trauma of racism. Our vision is a world in which Black people are healed from trauma, freed of deadly stereotypes, and emotionally empowered to enjoy life in all its fullness.
