[close] The Windsor-Essex Fat babe Squad is a community group in Windsor, Ontario that focuses on providing a supportive and inclusive environment for it's fat citizens, as well as increasing fat visibility and giving back to the community. This group will feature body and fat positive non-fiction and novels as well as discussions about the content of the books and it's impact on the Fat Acceptance movement. Though this group s very female-focused, we welcome fat men as well! If you are a fat man and want to become involved with the book club, please let me know!

[close] Health Club is a worker-owned / body-positive / community-centered barbell gym in Portland, OR. We offer people of all shapes, sizes and identities the opportunity to learn transformative movement techniques with their friends in a fun and cozy environment. AND NOW...we have a book club! Together we can read all sorts of books related to body-positivity, fat studies, Health At Every Size, LGBTQ studies, understanding oppression, barbell lifting, Starting Strength, fitness, fabulous fiction, etc. etc. etc. The possibilities are endless!
