[close] This group is created for readers and writers in Chicago and for out-of-towners who want to celebrate our local literary community as well as books set here and books written by authors who live here. With the American Writers Museum coming to Chicago a group like this only seems befitting!

[close] Welcome to Once a Month's Book and Brunch. I figured that with life being so busy, it is difficult to stick to the reading and social goals we each set for ourselves when reading alone. With a group of friends to help push each other to read and share thoughts on material weekly, having a group can encourage us all to stick to our goals. We will have weekly discussions that will take place on this page (day to be determined when schedules of members are shared), and after we complete each book, we will meet in person to celebrate the completion of our monthly read, to discuss the story, and to socialize and enjoy either a meal or drinks and each others' company.
