[close] Inflections: An Intersectional Book Club seeks to provide a space to more rigorously digest what the results of this election mean in terms of: How we socially locate ourselves in today's political climate, How we assess the outlook for various movements of social justice, How we build coalitions across disparate issue areas How we historicize this moment in local, national and global history. The more, the merrier!

[close] Citizens' Climate Lobby is a nonpartisan, grassroots nonprofit that builds political will for a livable world through climate legislation by empowering individual breakthroughs in personal or political power. Books that are relevant and useful to CCL volunteers. This may have to do with climate science, policy, advocacy, effective communication, citizen empowerment, community organizing, leadership, and interpersonal relationship building. Books should be tied to a CCL Lever of Political Will. Topics include: the climate crisis, climate policy, eco-justice, reparative justice, community organizing, economic justice and more. The moderator comes from The Shalom Center, a prophetic voice in Jewish, multi-religious life. The Shalom Center seeks to build relationships with other climate activists of other faiths. We encourage reading recommendations!
