[close] The 2014 Reading Olympics, a book-driven competition which is sponsored by The Page Turners Group, has officially begun! Athletes have branched out into a series of teams or "countries" that will battle head-to-head for gold, silver, and bronze medals in a multitude of sports. Even though the Games have already started, teams are always in need of additional athletes! Any members who would like to join the French team need only request to join this group. [close] Sponsored by the Clive Cussler Collector's Society, The Adventure Writer's Competition is in our fifth year and is held yearly. We are now open for 2015 submissions April 1 - July 1. More info on www.adventurewriterscompetition.com The contest has one category: Adventure, but there are many types of adventure novels! We accept unpublished novels, and self or traditionally published novels if under 5000 copies have been sold or given away. $1000 cash prize and a $25 entry fee that is used to promote the winners and the contest.

[close] Designed to foster and integrate a passion for reading into a competitive, team activity, the 2014 Summer Reading Olympics strives to introduce and unite members, promote the reading books outside of one's comfort zone, and provide a fun, engaging experience for individuals both young and old.
