[close] We do weekly writing competitions, chat, even role-play sometimes! It's the home for all who love to write. With challenges to push your writing to great limits and feedback, etc.!

[close] This a 64-short-story tournament in a knock-out format to be 'played' during the summer of 2016. 64 nations are represented by one eligible self-published/indie author, either through birth or citizenship. The goal is fourfold: 1) Shine a light on independent authors, allowing quality products to progress and create more buzz. 2) Introduce new authors to readers across a range of themes 3) Reward some authors who are struggling for reviews/ratings 4) Have some fun!

[close] The 2014 Reading Olympics, a book-driven competition which is sponsored by The Page Turners Group, has officially begun! Athletes have branched out into a series of teams or "countries" that will battle head-to-head for gold, silver, and bronze medals in a multitude of sports. Even though the Games have already started, teams are always in need of additional athletes! Any members who would like to join the Mars team need only request to join this group. [close] This group is for people who read books primarily using audio. We will occasionally have a book that we can read and discuss. And we will occasionally compete against each other to see who reads the most. The idea is to have fun and not judge because books are being read via audio.
