[close] Each month, one will read a book of their choice coming from a given country and share thoughts about it as they read it, or after they are done. The point is to step out of our comfort zone and discover authors from various places in the world. It is acceptable to pick a book that was written by, say, an Iranian-American person, but the challenge should be to browse and pick something that you wouldn't have picked otherwise. It can still be your genre or medium of choice (i.e. graphic novel, horror novel, YA novel, non-fiction, etc.). There is no pressure to read a new book each month, you can skip some.
