[close] Feminism and women's rights are a global issue, although we often focus on the happenings of a select few countries. The aim of this book club is to expand our horizons and read works by feminist authors and/or about women's rights from around the world. As many people have noted, it is not a trivial task to define what is meant by 'country.' Ann Morgan identifies 196 'countries' in her quest to #ReadTheWorld while the UN lists 193 member countries. [close] We will discuss all the great spots in this world we have been. We will tell of the beauty of the land, water, people and food.

[close] A place to discuss all the unique aspects of Deaf culture as highlighted in the thriller Silent Fear (A novel inspired by true crimes) by Lance & James Morcan. This group can also be an intersection of sorts where Deaf and hearing people can engage and learn from each other.
