Creation Science
Creation science or scientific creationism is a branch of creationism that claims to provide scientific support for the Genesis creation narrative in the Book of Genesis and disprove or re-explain the scientific facts, theories and paradigms about geology, cosmology, biological evolution, archaeology, history, and linguistics.

While the current big bang model hardly resembles earlier versions, confidence that the big bang is true remains strong. Whenever a problem arises with the big bang, an ad hoc solution is invoked to explain away the problem. Most scientists don't think there needs to be any evidence for each rescuing device because if the rescuing device wasn't true, then the big bang model would be false. There is no alternative out there, so anything else, including special creation, is unthinkable.

In a table of fossil placental mammals, the proboscideans (and all other orders) are proceeded by dotted lines, indicating no actual fossils of their alleged evolutionary ancestors. And it says: 'The order Proboscidea has evolved from unknown ancestors that were not much larger than pigs.' Of course, if the ancestors are 'unknown', we can't know what size they were, or even if they ever existed!
