[close] The western is a time-honored genre in the literature world, but it wasn't until lately that we've started adding the surreal to the mix and it's been a wild ride. From "Wild Wild West" to "Cowboys and Aliens" and "Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare", the genre has seen an explosion of weird. Was the OK Corral shootout actually a last stand against zombies? What about alternate-history Wild West steampunk? Lovecraftian gold mine dwellers? Parallel-world gunslingers like Stephen King's "Dark Tower" series? Modern-day "Justified"-style vampire hunters? Bring 'em all in, dead or alive. Book-club discussion, reviews, book suggestions, dream-casts, workshopping, and author AMAs.

[close] I wanted to start a group where book lovers can come talk about any book. I wanted to get like minded people together for friendship and fun. We can have coffee or tea and talk books all day. I love all types of books/genres and I love to read and review in my spare time so I thought maybe more authors and readers may come here to meet. I want to support books/authors and book lovers. Everyone and anyone can join!
