[close] Come read with us! In September 2020 we held an online public vote to choose the 4 books we would together explore between October 2020 and May 2021. The winning books were; They are: Climate Justice by Mary Robinson, Violent Borders by Reece Jones, On Fire: The Burning Case for a Green New Deal by Naomi Klein, Hope in the Dark by Rebecca Solnit. Here's how it will work: 1. Read the book and / or associated read and watch lists (psst: you can receive a book of your choice from the 4 winning books for donating just €4 to us a month!) 2. Join the free public event where a contributor working on the issue covered in the book will join us to explore the issue and actions that can be taken to improve the situation. 3. Take part in a development education workshop to be part of a reflective, critical space for exploration of the issue, and to connect the dots between seemingly disparate issues of global justice in order to foster a sense of interconnectedness and understanding of root causes

[close] The Guild of the ROSE is a community based self improvement organization. Members of this group must be a part of the Guild of the ROSE. We primarily use Discord as our communication platform, but this group provides a method for us to find each other on GoodReads.

[close] Simply put, a book club for dudes. It's rare to find an online book Club for people other than middle aged moms, so I made Dude's Book Club for us. A lot of Dude's don't talk about shit they read so I wanted to create this space to do that: share thoughts, spark a dialogue, build, ask questions, inspire. All that. So come grab a chair at the round table and in your spare time chock up a comment or two, suggest a book for the group or just hang back and read. Welcome.
