[close] The Professional Officers' Reading Club (PORC) is for those who know the sorts of books they are meant to be reading, but seldom get round to reading them.

[close] This is a list of useful resources for the study of evangelical theology. Not limited by any means to evangelical resources, nor denominational orientation, but works of general interest.

[close] A private group for believers in Jesus Christ engaged in the common purpose of reading Christian non-fiction together for instruction, conversation, and fellowship. This group is inter-denominational and is intended to be a haven of discussion about all subjects pertaining to Christianity, inspired by the books read. The group books are selected on the focus of things pertaining to Christianity, content by Christian writers, or about believers themselves. All may join so long as they are believers in the true gospel of Jesus Christ and follow the Bible in their interactions with other people. In this group a Christian is defined as someone who believes in Jesus and is trusting in Him to make him right before God, not relying on his or her works in anyway to save him/her. Anyone who believes this is welcomed into the community, regardless of his/her beliefs or traditions. If you apply to join just send EssyK or Barton Jahn a personal message through Goodreads acknowledging that you accept all these things and identify yourself as a believer in Jesus Christ. You will then be granted membership to the group.
