The name of the group is based on the Chinese phrase for imagination is "想象." Literally, 想 means "to think" and 象 means "elephant". The direct translation is "To Think of Elephants." Thus, the name of the group. "To Think of Elephants" means, to me, to dream the impossible dream, and to achieve it. That is, after all, imagination.

[close] Starting a book club was a natural step for the UPROAR Network. As a team, we are constantly sharing new reads with one another, and we realized, we should be sharing this with you. The global situation is making a lot of us question our purpose, and what mark we want to leave on the world.
