Empire

[close] Our Goodreads group based of our Burn After Reading FB group which is a spin off from the Empire Movie group. The idea of this group is for our members to have another nice and fun place to share, talk and reccomend books. I always find it fun to see what everyone is reading and get ideas from that.

[close] This glorious kingdom, ruled by our amazing Empress, the one and only Empress Carollama the Conqueror, is welcome to all readers, anywhere.....as long as you follow the rules, that is. This kingdom is where Carollama rules, so prepare to be looked out for. Here, you can discuss some books, talk about llamas, be a mango, eat blue food, destroy ducks, roleplay, be a Dauntless, and many other things. So behold.....Llamalandia.

[close] 500 years ago the human race died off. It was our time and it wasn't overly unnatural; we had our empire and, indeed, it was great. Slowly, a new race began to blossom from the earth; one that would treat the Earth with more kindness and fertility than we had. The Elven. These were mighty creatures, very much resembling human in appearance, but in soul, they were so very different. The Elves were stronger, faster and smarter. They could leap up our tallest structure and balance on our thinnest high wires. They would have laughed at our Olympic athletes like they were puny and small. Each Elf deep, deep down though, had the spirit of a human. Their personalities and deepest goals were exactly the same. After all, they rose from the same Earth we laid dead in. Roleplay as your Elf in this new and great empire! Rising spires and magical abilities passed down in Elf families! Just remember, nothing is safe; the Elves weren't the only ones to rise from the Earth, and some of these creatures envy the Elves' empire.
