[close] For anyone interested in black and white movies, actors from the dawn of film through the 1960s, or the culture of the era, this is the book club for you. We read four books a year (a new book each season) alternating between fiction adapted to the screen and non-fiction about the screen.

[close] Welcome to The Next Title, a book club created by four lifelong friends who stay connected through books. Years ago we started a book club with a twist: every book we read has a screenplay adaption. We dive into the story on the page, watch it come to life on screen, and celebrate it all with homemade dishes inspired by the book itself. Join us as we read, watch, eat, and laugh our way through every new chapter together.

[close] Each month a theme will be set with a suggested book for each age group (adult, young adult, 8-12 years, young children). You do not have to stick to your age group, it's just to provide a little something for everyone. Some months adult themes may be included, there will be a warning given prior if this is the case. If you add a book to the tbr please let a moderator know the key themes, genres and age range that it falls under.
