[close] Have you read the book, seen the movie, neither – but you are eager to read and see both? Then this is absolutely perfect group for you! We like to see this club as a nice and friendly place where members read and watch and discuss their favorite and/or wish-to-read-and-see books and movies. Of course, everybody is welcome!

[close] Each month a theme will be set with a suggested book for each age group (adult, young adult, 8-12 years, young children). You do not have to stick to your age group, it's just to provide a little something for everyone. Some months adult themes may be included, there will be a warning given prior if this is the case. If you add a book to the tbr please let a moderator know the key themes, genres and age range that it falls under.

[close] We're a book discussion group who meets once a month to talk about books (often but not always with a movie/tv tie-in) at the Felipe de Neve Library (a branch of the Los Angeles Public Library System) in the Westlake/Rampart Village area near Koreatown in Los Angeles. We normally meet and chat for about an hour once a month over coffee and donuts but are trying out a new way to connect during covid-19. Please feel free to join this guinea pig group whether or not you are in our 90057 zip code.
