We have 3 group reads on a rotating monthly basis: 1 'Dark' read, 1 'Light' read, & 1 'World Tour' read. Choose which group read to participate in depending on your mood for the month. However, due to some adult themes discussed in our group reads, we would like to request all members are over the age of 18. If you are found to be under 18, we may remove you from the group.

[close] •The challenge will run from November 1, 2012, to February 1, 2013. No books that are started before November 1 or finished after February 1 will count. •No re-reads! We want you to experience new books with this challenge. • Each book must be at least 200 pages long. Audiobooks are fine, as long as the print versions meet the page requirements. •The books can be fiction or nonfiction, unless a particular category specifies one way or the other. • A book can only be used for one category. If you want to switch the category later, that’s fine, just be sure to account for that in your point total. • You can read more than one book in each category, but to be eligible to win you need to read at least one book from at least 6 categories. • Any one of any age is welcome to participate. • You don’t have to buy the books from us, but if you do we’ll give you a 5% discount! • The aim is to get as many points as possible. The winner will get a selection of books and the three runners up will get a book each. Bonus Points: Every extra 100 pages over the required 200 gets 5 bonus points. Every Australian title that you read earns an extra 5 points, (excluding the Miles Franklin category). How to keep track: Register in store. We’ll need your full name and a contact number. Then, collect a score card from us in store. Fill in your name, the book title and the number of pages. [close] This book club was started at the Thunderbird School of Global Management to promote books about international themes and cross-cultural understanding through book discussions. It is a social, non-academic group that meets casually during lunches.
