[close] ¡Hola Amigos! Kelly Jackson and I were talking recently about joining a book club online as a motivation to read more books and connect with other people. When we couldn’t find one we loved, we decided we would start our own! We have so many lovely literary friends that we thought would like the idea, so we brainstormed how to make it work and came up with Amigos Con Libros! Welcome to our book club! Everyone is welcome! We don’t have a particular book theme in mind. As a matter of fact, we want to encourage ourselves and whoever joins us to read many different genres to expand our world. The plan is to select two books to read every month. One of these books will be a book neither Kelly or I have read but have been wanting to read. The other will be a recommendation from one of us (or you guys!) of a book that we absolutely loved. We wanted to offer two books in case you’ve already read one of them, don’t love one of the options, or want to read more than one book! We will post the reason we loved our recommended book in a discussion before the month begins. We would love for this page to be a place of open discussion about the books. There may be months that we only choose one book! We hope you love this idea as much as we do!
