The NeoSciFi Collective is a resistance network of writers, artists, filmmakers, educators, theorists, coders, readers, and cultural disruptors committed to dismantling the spectacle-driven science fiction industry and reimagining the future as a site of philosophical, political, and aesthetic possibility.
Purpose of the Group
To activate the ideas in the NeoSciFi Manifesto by creating a decentralized movement that:
1) Unearths lost or marginalized futures through artistic and philosophical excavation
2) Builds platforms and tools for producing and distributing counter-science fiction
3) Fosters critical literacy and resistance to spectacle among readers, students, and creators
4) Designs new cultural apparatuses outside the mainstream entertainment economy.
