[close] Dear readers, Since I was little, mom always told me that books are the best friends anyone can have. You know all the adventures, you live all kinds of situations, open your mind and invite you to think for yourself. I love reading, there are so many books and each one is so different! Joyful, inspiring, funny, reflective, captivating ... Sometimes I felt that my heart was going to leave my chest and my head was spinning. I couldnt wait for the next page to know what was going to happen even sometimes I couldnt sleep. I want to transmit my passion for literature. For this reason, I have decided to create this group. To share my passion with all who devour books and feel alive as I do when reading a book. The idea is to select a book each month and read it all. I would love for us to openly discuss our ideas, opinions, thoughts and feelings. Thus we'll discover other points of view, I'll ask questions about topics in the book that have troubled me. [close] We are reading books, essays, and materials on topics regarding contemporary art studies, post-colonialism, visual culture, politics, criticism, etc. The reading group meets once a month. Our online activity is limited due to the focus on real-life interaction during the reading meetings. Conversations are usually carried on collectively during the meetings.
