Gods and Goddesses

[close] Since the beginning of time, greater beings of immense power have existed. Some govern the world of men, others bring chaos to this same world and the rest find it fun to toy with mortal beings whose lives are but the blink of an eye. These immortal beings known as gods and goddesses among humans were once very visible on earth, but as time went by, they retreated further and further away from man, taking with them the gifts and curses that they had once bestowed. Thousands of years have passed, and these beings are all but forgotten. Recently, natural disasters have been plaguing earth--more so than usual--on a catastrophic level, threatening to destroy the world as humans know it. No one knows the reason for these occurrences, but it is time to find out if a war has broken out among the gods and goddesses above us.
