[close] In deze groep willen we boeken met homoseksualiteit als belangrijk thema bespreken. De enige voorwaarde is dat het boek in de Nederlandse taal te lezen is. Onder de term 'homoseksualiteit' bedoel ik eigenlijk alles wat de heteronorm overschrijdt: panseksualiteit, homo-romantische a-seksualiteit, transgender, crossdressing, drag, bi-curious, enzovoort.

[close] QUEER BOOKTUBERS TALK ABOUT QUEER BOOKS TOGETHER! A group of BookTubers who refer to themselves as "The Pride" have created this group to be a SAFE ZONE for all LGBTQIA+ BookTubers and Readers to read books together and be able to feel safe while voicing issues about homophobia, heteronormativity, and misrepresentation. However, more than that, it's a place for queer BookTubers and Readers to be able to read and have fun and let our hair down, knowing that within this group we are not a minority. Notes: We use "LGBTQIA+ and "queer" interchangeably. The "A" in "LGBTQIA+" DOES NOT stand for Ally. You MUST answer the challenge question in order to be admitted as this group is ONLY for those who identify as some form of queer. If you do not answer you will not be admitted.

[close] This group is a safe haven for people that don’t fit within the social norm, or mainstream normal, of society; particularly for people of a different sexuality or gender that is not considered “the norm”. I understand the hardships of being different than the mainstream norm, having gone through tough times myself, and would love to help, hear, or give to people who are going through them now or have gone through them in the past.
