[close] Each month, the DCH Book Club reads a book, then performs a show at the Dallas Comedy House where they discuss they book and perform improvised scenes based on the discussion. Everyone is invited to read the book of the month as well, and come to the show so everyone is in on the discussion and jokes.

[close] The name is pretty self-explanatory. It's roleplay... but in improv form! Basically, here's how it goes: 1. You create characters. 2. You pair up with 1 to 3 other people and choose the character you want to use. 3. You request a thread. The mod will give you and your group a thread to RP in and a prompt. 4. You roleplay to your heart's content. Wait! There's a catch. Not only do you have a prompt to RP, but a mod will be able to come in at any time and throw in a plot twist (henceforth known as ModTwists). These ModTwists can be new events that happen, such as, "An important item has just been stolen from Characters A and B" or something crazy like, "Character is now a duck for 10 posts". *The ModTwists are optional, but highly suggested* IMPORTANT: You can request one of three different threads- Serious, Silly, and Anything. Serious RPs will have relatively normal prompts with actual plots, and the ModTwists will not change anything too drastically (meaning no ducks). Silly, however, will usually have very random prompts and ModTwists. Anythings will have a combination of the two, and pretty much whatever the mod happens to think up at the time.
