Latino Authors

[close] Un "pequeño rinconcito" for lovers of Mexico's literature, history, culture, food, politics, etc. Includes all sub-genres, books in English or Spanish, writings by non-Mexican authors, or works that spill into or over from the americano/latino nexus.

[close] We read and discuss fiction that raises social consciousness with regards to race/ethnicity. We also use non-fiction works as a supplement to expand our understanding of the topics touched on in the novel we're discussing. You don't have to be "woke" to join the group, but all members should be willing to read and respectfully discuss the (sometimes touchy) topics at hand with the aim of greater understanding.
