[close] This is a group for people who want to read old books and classics and then discuss them as a group. The mods choose themes each voting period (usually 4-8 weeks depending on the length of the current group selection) and the group will choose a book to read that fits the theme. Everyone is welcome who loves to read and talk about what they have read and take and give some tips for getting through those old classics sitting on your book shelf.

We are a relaxed group of book lovers that also love to chat! Join the party. This is an open group, please feel free to invite anyone on Goodreads to join.. Feel free to express your opinion, however, personal attacks on other members will not be tolerated. Keep your language clean, however I will overlook the occasional darn, heck, or shoot. If you’re anything like me, you know the joy of holding a book in your hands, diving into a new story, and getting swept up in worlds of romance, fantasy, and adventure. But you probably also know the frustration—books can be expensive, second-hand shops are often full of worn-out titles, and staying on top of the latest BookTok trends sometimes feels impossible. That’s exactly why I started this bookstore. I wanted to create a space where readers could find the books they actually want to read—recent releases, trending titles, gorgeous editions—without paying department store prices or contributing to waste. My mission is simple: to save books from landfill, make reading affordable, and give every book a second chance at being loved.
