Married

[close] I decided to start a group for reading books by authors whom are married. The inspiration for this was Tahereh Mafi and Ransom Riggs (married 2013)

[close] We are women lifting each other up and encouraging one another to find, be, and stay true to our unique and individual selves.

[close] This is a women's Christian Book Club group. We are women who desire to grow in the Lord and enjoying reading Christian books that build us up in our faith and walk with the Lord. The steward of this group has a passion and calling for encouraging women in various seasons of their life. This group is a little different the Leader of the group is also a Workshop Facilitator and an author, so she will often at times challenge you to do exercises. We have a selection of books (about five) that we rotate through. All Book selections vary for all women and for single woman of God and also for the Married. We don't read just to read we read to be transformed and encouraged in the Lord through our reading. ***We discuss books in the folder on this page. We also have a paid section ($3.00 per month or whatever month you sign up for it) of our book club where we meet online on Zoom to discuss our books once per month. In addition, ***We have a time once monthly where we meet to read any books or anything we desire quietly. This is our Christian Silent Reading time on Zoom (When you pay the $3.00 for the book reading discussion your one time fee for that month also entitles you to attend the Silent reading for that month ONLY). This is great for those who are behind in your reading can meet with us once per month to do some reading. During that time we spend 30 minutes of fellowship and one hour reading silently on Zoom. We ask a few people to share in the beginning about Christian books they are currently reading and how their book is ministering to them. You might even learn of new books you desire to read. Also, we plan to have one in person fellowship per year or more based on the response***
