This bookclub is designed to promote understanding and discussion around how racism operates within our minds, communities, and society as a whole.
Feel free to use the discussion board below to post questions, prompts, and thoughts that come up as you read through the book. At the end of each month, we'll have a virtual discussion about the book and how we can bring these topics into our worlds.
UPDATE: Since most individuals were unable to receive their book until well into June/early July, we have decided to solely use the discussion boards and forego a Zoom call. Thank you for being open-minded and flexible with us! We hope to have a more solid structure with future months/books.

Heineken is the most recent with its ad of a beer passing by a dark-skinned African-American to a light-skinned African-American, with the phrase, “Lighter is Better.”
