[close] Our title is a playful nod to C.S. Lewis’s 1944 lecture, "The Inner Ring." In it, Lewis warns against the subtle temptation to chase ever‑smaller, more exclusive circles — the “in crowd” — at the cost of integrity and joy. The “Outer Ring” flips that idea on its head: we welcome the mix of familiar and unfamiliar voices, valuing curiosity, honesty, and genuine connection over status or secrecy. Here, the only ring worth joining is the one that stays open.

[close] A group for single Baptist women in missions, to discuss spiritual literature which helps and encourages us as believers. Also, it's a place where single women in missions can speak more freely with one another.

[close] Ekklesia or Ecclesia is the word that we use in the greek for Church. I'd like to build a virtual Ekklesia around the world with those who want to build a community of goodreads that love the body of Christ around the world and want to see the great commission fulfilled.
