[close] Flying is unnatural to man; where the desire to fly is part of our being. Therefore as we first have the opportunity to defy gravity and leave terra firma, adrenaline fills our very soul. I earned my wings the day after my 19th birthday and became a controller when I was 26. Now 25 years later I have retired and look forward to spending more time flying. Have you ever wondered how they keep the airplanes apart as you fly through the night sky? Ever look out the window of your airplane and were concerned by how close the thunderstorm appeared?

[close] We launched this club to dig deeper into books about aviation and space and discuss them with others who have similar interests. We'll announce a featured selection in each issue, which could either be a new release or a classic in the field.

[close] Each month a theme will be set with a suggested book for each age group (adult, young adult, 8-12 years, young children). You do not have to stick to your age group, it's just to provide a little something for everyone. Some months adult themes may be included, there will be a warning given prior if this is the case. If you add a book to the tbr please let a moderator know the key themes, genres and age range that it falls under.
