[close] The goal is to read all joint winners of the Hugo and Nebula awards.

[close] This group is for like-minded people who want to read all of the Hugo and Nebula winners and runners-up. The Hugo Awards are chosen by the fans. The Nebula Awards are chosen by science fiction writers. A lot of the books overlap, but not all. The Nebula awards started in 1966. Many people believe that the Nebula awards are more prestigious due to it being writers judging writers. The Hugo awards (Originally called the World Science Fiction Society until 1992) have been giving out awards since 1953. As of the end of 2017, there are: - 71 Hugo Winners - 279 Hugo Runners Up (Dune World by Frank Herbert is not in the list) - 53 Nebula Winners - 283 Nebula Runners Up This will be an adult only group, mostly because we don't want to censor ourselves and because a few of the books on the list are not appropriate for children and we don't fancy trying to explain incest, murder, and the meaning of life to random children. This group was established on 2/8/2018.
