[close] This RP is based on a story written by me personally with copyright law in place. I'm attempting to create a saga and may even ask about using certain characters designed by creative people such as yourself. In this world, there are four linked realities; Mortaea, Heaven, Hell, and the dream world, commonly referred to as The Fade, which connects the realities to each other. Magic exists, though is restrained by where the energy comes from as well as consequences for certain uses.

[close] A digital book club focusing on folkloric and traditional magic. By undertaking close readings of folk tales and anthropological and academic texts about folkloric practices, we hoping we can uncover some of the underpinning principles with a view to how we can apply these things to our own lives and practices. We're also interested in how a queer theoretical perspective can trouble our received understanding of 'how things were' and result in new insights about difference and otherness - especially in regards to the archetype of the witch. The moderator's interests are in Appalachian, Irish, English, German and Serbian folk practices as that’s where his ancestral lines lie, but we welcome folks from other cultural heritages, especially people of colour and folks outside of Europe.

They are calling it 'The Game of Shadows.' This so-called game is just shy of murder, with the use of the blackest and darkest of magic to do harm to other players. If that was not bad enough, there are demons and monsters who act as obstacles, trying to kill the players. The game is open to all of New Orleans and anyone can play - the only requirement is some knowledge of magic.
