[close] A very interesting sub-genre of the Romantic era that borders on Gothic fiction, Dark Romanticism effectively offers flawed human beings, who give in to sin,temptation and greed, in a dark decaying natural world. Think Edgar Allan Poe, Nathaniel Hawthorne and Herman Melville.

[close] Two princes, brothers, used to be the best of friends, thick as thieves. But now they are split apart. They are enemies and are at war with one another.
