[close] A place to reflect on and analyze medieval and Renaissance poetry, from roughly 500 to 1700 AD, from the medieval romances of Arthuriana to the sonnets of Shakespeare to the religious imagery of Dante and Milton. Members may also submit their own poems, which should theoretically resemble classic poems in their themes or structure. This group is intended to be casually scholarly, meaning discussions should be intellectual in nature, citing sources is encouraged, but casual in that having positive engagement with other enthusiasts is the primary goal.
