Then, out of the ashes, a new world was formed. The nation of Panem. Several years after, the districts formed a rebellion against their over powerful capitol. The districts lost. As penance, the capitol created a game like no other, the Hunger Games. The Hunger Games are when two tributes, a male and a female, are reaped from their home district to take place in the Games. They are then thrown into an arena with a random landscape and forced to fight to the death. This event is televised all over the nation and every citizen is forced to watch it. The Hunger Games have been going on for many years now. They are into the 123 annual Hunger Games.
