[close] Place where peeps can come together and discuss all the things they like/don't like about all the vampire, lycanthrope (shape-shifter), paranormal & preternatural young adult books they have read or want to read.

[close] The purpose of this group is to bring together writers and readers from all sub-genres of fantasy who share a common appreciation for the original species. Because every fantasy fan knows the basic lore surrounding vampires, werewolves, zombies, etc, to write something interesting and comprehensible about such creatures does not require a challenging explanation. For an author to introduce a new species, on the other hand, is to take on the task of building the reader something solid and substantial out of nothing. When done right, I first find the newness so refreshing to read, and then later, once I've finished the book, I sit and feel jealous of the genius who wrote it. We can only aspire!

[close] An RP group focused around the realm of Faerie. Elements incluse (but are never limited to) the Sidhe Courts - the Seelie and the Unseelie - the Solitary Fae, and of course humans, too! Other preternatural creatures are also allowed, but the RP's focus is primarily Fae-based.
