Prince

[close] In the land of Illea, there is one great tradition. It is known as the Selection. When the heir of a royal family, the crowned prince, turns 21, a selection is thrown into their lives. Thirty five girls from each Province in Illea are chosen and brought to the palace for this event. The prince dates each one, and through eliminations, he slowly gets rid of them until he finds The One. The one who will be his bride, the future queen of Illea. As he marries and starts his family, his siblings have their own selections, furthering the royal family. But it all starts with the first born prince. Will your selected girl be chosen? Will she be the future queen? Will she break the rules and be executed for it? Will She find herself falling in love with someone other than the prince? Not only do they have to worry about the Selection, but also the rebellion. There are two rebel groups. The Northern Rebellion cause minor disruptions for the good of the people. They rarely get into the palace and when they do, not too much havoc is caused. The real enemy is the Southern Rebellion. A group of cutthroats who attack only a few times a year, but when they do, people die. People always die. So the question is... are you ready for the Selection?

[close]                  In a world where only the elite rule over the land and your true value only lies in your shapeshifting ability, and other magical abilities, life has been more than cruel over the people of Astarial. Even though the three people who rule, the Princes and Princess, try to make things equal among the people, they can't deny the fact that this whole system of judging someone by their ability has been of some benefit to themselves as well. What with being three of the most powerful siblings in the land. The young rulers have voiced their concerns to the Council about the system but none are taken seriously. And as the people grow to see that their rulers' grip on the country weakens, revolts begin to happen. Even the rise of the Star Children have began to being told in stories once more. The only revolt powerful enough to have almost defeated the unrighteous system before they were cut down and banished from the land by the royals' grandfather. The story of their hair glimmering like starlight as always been a favorite among the children. And some even hope that the revolt that has been long forgotten, starts making a change in their unfair way of life.

I'm attempting to create a saga and may even ask about using certain characters designed by creative people such as yourself. In this world, there are four linked realities; Mortaea, Heaven, Hell, and the dream world, commonly referred to as The Fade, which connects the realities to each other. Magic exists, though is restrained by where the energy comes from as well as consequences for certain uses.
