[close] I'm a passionate advocate for prisoner's rights and preventing recidivism. I'm also very interested in crime and crime nonfiction novels. This is a group for others who share crime and passion novels and topics and the discussions that come out of them.

[close] What did you do to get here? From serial killers living out life sentences behind bars to meth addicts wrongly convicted of stabbings, the Barris Correctional Facility is one of the most notoriously criminal prisons of all time.

This group is about stepping out of our comfort zones by picking up and reading things we would not necessarily pick up on our own. This group is not about being right or wrong, its about discussing what you are learning as we go. This group is being moderated by a 44 y/o privileged white woman who now knows better and wants to do better. I am never done learning. I make mistakes. I can be wrong or misinformed, and I am always willing to discuss that.
