Prose Poetry

[close] ...August 18, 2013 to September 17, 2013... I'm happy to talk about my new collection of prose poems, Notes for the Novice Ventriloquist, the prose poem in general and anything else you'd like to discuss.

[close] This group reads fantasy & science fiction that features aesthetic prose. We also read books that live in the borderlands between these genres (and adjacent ones) and literary fiction. We don't operate as a book club. We're more of a crowd-sourced recommendation engine for books that meet the group's criteria.

[close] Monthly choice of Latin American authors. We will be reading short stories, essays and prose poetry. The reading material is posted the last week of each month, to start discussion the following week.

[close] Being a professional screenwriter and an author I've always wanted to create a haven for writers to come and express themselves; whether it be poetry, quotes, ideas, screenplays, scripts, novels, or even that little saying that you scribble onto that small napkin while you're sitting at that Starbucks table. When I first decided to pick up the pen and create my first creative piece of art, I dreaded not having someone to connect to as a writer that I could share my artistic perspectives with. Well, this is now that place. A place where you can come to write and create with no limitations, judgments, or restrictions. My goal for this group is that we all become immersed in love to the point our creative energy flows through one another allowing us to create freely as the artist should. I hope every soul that joins this groups finds something special here that may inspire you and elevate your inner-being to create freely, bravely, and passionately.
