[close] This group is a support group to help and encourage women who are writing and publishing indies. Members may ask other members to read and honestly evaluate each other's work. We welcome writers, editors, proofreaders and readers. The purpose of the group is to connect with fellow writers and others in the writing and publishing trades.

[close] Getting reviews for your published books is a minefield. There is a myriad of companies out there offering to review your books for payment, but how honest are they? And with some (or should I say most) the cost is prohibitive for self-published authors. I am hoping this group could fill a gap. I have based it on a facebook model of Authors Who Review, and I am hoping it will work here. I have added a section for beta-readers. So many people want beta-readers but it is also an area that more and more you are expected to pay for. I am also looking for someone else to help moderate it, so if you are interested, then let me know. A bit of advice! Make sure that your book is ready to be published! Go through one of the other review groups to make sure that your book is at the standard it should be(proofread and edited to perfection). If someone has bought your book you cannot stop them from posting to Amazon, and abuse of members by someone not happy with a review will not be tolerated. Be honest, fair and keep it clean folks!

[close] Here, we share stories and dreams and support each other like friends do. We're all ambitious and sure that the world would be lucky enough to hear our tales. We'd give each other compliments and if we get close enough, even critisism. We all want to touch the spine of our book and feel our names embedded on it. We made it. For now, we're a bunch of casual writers just having fun. Everyone already has a place for them here. So, welcome.
