[close] Getting reviews for your published books is a minefield. There is a myriad of companies out there offering to review your books for payment, but how honest are they? And with some (or should I say most) the cost is prohibitive for self-published authors. I am hoping this group could fill a gap. I have based it on a facebook model of Authors Who Review, and I am hoping it will work here. I have added a section for beta-readers. So many people want beta-readers but it is also an area that more and more you are expected to pay for. I am also looking for someone else to help moderate it, so if you are interested, then let me know. A bit of advice! Make sure that your book is ready to be published! Go through one of the other review groups to make sure that your book is at the standard it should be(proofread and edited to perfection). If someone has bought your book you cannot stop them from posting to Amazon, and abuse of members by someone not happy with a review will not be tolerated. Be honest, fair and keep it clean folks!

[close] This is a group for fledgling writers, and those authors starting out in their career, to share experiences, discuss literary influences and literary criticism, and seek out others with common cause. This is not meant to be a diverse group but a coherent and cohesive gathering to make contacts and develop a current up-to-date list for writers pursuing their careers to become authors. A leg up, a helping hand, a band of brothers. Browse the book shelf, participate in a poll, get passionate in discussions. However, activists, karens, and propogandists are unwelcome because such behaviour does not fit the group charter or tags. Activists are directed to join a cult or woke guild instead. This group will be curated for content accordingly.
